Behind every iconic celebration is a world meticulously built to tell a story. For DreamzKrraft, that story started twenty-five years ago. Yet at the heart of its expansive production lies a deceptively simple idea: “We don’t believe a family should have to fit into a wedding template. We believe the wedding should be created around the family,” explains Creative Director Akansha Sidhwani.
That philosophy has shaped the studio from its beginnings in wedding expertise and film production to the multidisciplinary creative house it is today. With production design informing its approach to scale, storytelling and space, DreamzKrraft sees every celebration as a world waiting to be built, but always one rooted in the people within it. For Sidhwani, originality isn’t about producing something entirely unfamiliar. In an age of endless Pinterest references, it lies in uncovering what makes a celebration personal. “The family comes first, and the concept follows.”
As the industry moves toward increasingly immersive experiences, DreamzKrraft is looking beyond spectacle to create celebrations where design, hospitality, technology and storytelling converge. Yet Sidhwani believes some things should remain unchanged. Having witnessed thousands of weddings unfold, she says, “You can design the environment. You can plan the experience. You can choreograph the spectacle. But you cannot manufacture emotion. After all these years, every family still has a story we’ve never heard before – and every wedding still has a moment we couldn’t have planned.”
For DreamzKrraft, that unpredictability is where the magic lies: creating the setting, then allowing real life to take over.
“The design is never meant to overshadow what is happening. It is there to give those moments the warmth and significance they deserve.”
