Pinterest Predicts 2026 captured this aptly, pointing to a growing pull towards nostalgia as a source of comfort, one that people keep returning to again and again. At the same time, it reflects a more open approach to style – where familiarity is welcomed, but never at the cost of individuality.
There’s a clear return to instinct. Instead of following a fixed palette, people are leaning towards what works for them on a more personal level. These choices feel less about getting it “right” and more about making it feel right.
