There’s something about the slight shift in the air as spring gives way to summer. The temperatures soar, afternoons turn balmy, and hemlines can’t help but shorten. But our romance with spring is a hard thing to let go of, and as we get ready to slip into summer, we wanted to bring some memories of spring along. As the days get longer, they call for a little gusto from our wardrobes. What’s a better way to switch things up a bit than with swashes or blocks of colour?

It’s no secret that bold colours are having a serious moment, and colour blocking has been on our mind for a while. In a hunt for inspiration, we had to look no further than Pantone’s top shades for Spring/Summer 2019. Pantone describes Sweet Lilac as ‘an endearing pink infused lavender’, and to be honest, we can’t help but fall in love with the romantic hue.
